it was indicated the promenade is for beginners, and while the technical difficulties are fine, the length of the promenade may be an issue for people not super fit like me...:) so I think it should be more clearly explained...

The humans were friendly, the equipment wasn't at par for the price bracket of the experience. These weren't sea kayaks but just open canoe-type kayaks so no place to brace yourself. As such, not comfortable.

We enjoyed kayaking the other direction from the jet d'eau, and watching the wild birds and the nice houses on the lake at a pace suitable for us. We were very glad we could do it the 1st of August, the national holiday. The explanations about what to do were very clear, the kayaking was very well organized.

That's a criticism that can be levied against many kayak/rafting companies, but generally I prefer the PDF (personal floating device) to be washed every now and then. The use by multiple people over the summer made the PDFs very smelly and dirty.

instructions on location: we arrived a bit earlier in the exact location but nobody was there so we started wondering we were in the wrong place and had to go back and forth a number of time arriving late in the end:
I think a mobile number should be provided upfront in case people have difficulties in locating the departure point

3 people in a barely 2.5 person canoe-kayak, with no backrests, makes for a difficult time. Seriously, about 180 CHF for the use of a kayak and paddles? Over-priced and uncomfortable, for what it was. We had better cost performance sea-kayaking in the Cinque Terre Italy, and way more enjoyment because the equipment was proper.

It was hard when we did it, but one boat was struggling, so perhaps we didn’t get as far as we would have liked.

If they would simply ensure backrests were there for the kayaks, it would be much better. And EN based email communication would be appreciated since all the guides spoke great English. Maybe the office staff felt that Rafting Loisirs is also an Ecole de Francais pour Loisirs.
