Mikko is first and foremost a teacher - and a very skilled one at that. He uses adult educational techniques (establishing what we want to get out of the session, asking questions, inviting questions, explaining the logic, being friendly, positive reinforcement.) He's also a master martial artist - he can tell you your eye prescription from where your shots land on the target.

Really struggling to find something, but I guess being able to see availability online and picking a slot would be great.

It would be even nicer if everyone could wear the proper protecting glasses. One empty shell jumped to my son's face under his myopia glasses and hurt the skin there. Perhaps this could have been avoided if he were wearing protecting glasses.

I'm not sure I'll take up the sport (I guess Mikko didn't really "sell" other things we could do with him) but if I wanted to improve my skills or understanding, I'd be disappointed if I asked anyone else. (I actually had a class with a different instructor from another company the same day so I could compare.)
