After 20 mins and calling staff a few times, we were finally given a menu and our drink order taken. We had the Peking duck which we have eaten elsewhere many times before.
The first service of crepes arrived served with duck skin - no meat, just skin.
The duck we’d been shown prior to the skin filled crepes, was not served in full. Basically we had skin, followed by some breast meat. No traces of the rest of the duck to be seen. A huge disappointment for what usually is, a delicious meal. In addition, a scoop of ice-cream or tinned lychees do not qualify as a dessert.

I had quite unpleasant experience with the owner Ms. Ruan. We used the voucher as prepaid 144 CHF credits, but she only redeemed the cheapest main courses with the voucher which is even lower than value of the voucher- 79 sfr. She said this is the policy when we use the buyclub voucher. So, I certainly won't recommend anyone to buy this restaurant's voucher.- on Buyclub.

Excellent food, simple but welcoming decor, lovely table settings with tablecloths all lend a tone of elegance. Servings are generous and beer and wine, including open wine, are very reasonably priced. We found the service quite slow at the beginning. Ii took a good 20 minutes or more between the time the lacquered duck was shown to us and the time it was skinned (not in our view unfortunately) and served to us with the pancakes. The remaining 2 courses were served in a more timely fashion. Only the owner/gerant speaks English/French and Chinese.

The restaurant was half empty yesterday when we arrived and we were given a seat in the corner of the restaurant near the kitchen and it was very hot...We were not alled to change table .
.At last the chef turn the fan in our direction. By that moment the restaurant was still empty and it was 9.30 pm.

Restaurant was half full, but the kitchen could not cope. The first course came in missing main ingredient - pancake for duck skin for which we had to wait nearly half an hour so the duck skin got cold. The 2nd and 3rd course took too long to arrive, more than 45 minutes wait. Kitchen could not cope so manager offered us free beer but it was nevertheless frustrating.

Especially if you arrive with children and you are eating a set menu I think the restaurant has an obligation to warn you that one out of the three dishes will be super spicy (maybe they should offer a less spicy version too all patrons). The meat in the third dish, served along the second and spicy dish, was very chewey. I assume it was the same in the spicy dish, but I don't know for sure as I only had one piece and was so shocked at the spicyness that I didn't pay attention to this. It was the same duck though so probably chewey too. My 11 and 13 year old only ate the rice as they did not the meat in the second and third dish. Normally they LOVE duck. Actually the rice was mushy too, I have never experiences that with fried rice..

A big disappoinment, it is written the voucher is valid for 144 food credit, but it is not true. You must order 2starters, 2plats and 2desserts and the amount is not up to 144chf, the total amount only until 100chf. We ordered 4 starters, 2 plats and 2desserts, in the end we paid for 2starters and the 144chf is not valid.We will not come back again.
The waitresses are friendly but the lady boss is less friendly when we asked about the voucher.

The portion for the 1st service was not the same as the other clients who took the same dish just the table next to us and 2 table away from us as well. Our fist dish was looking very poor compare to the other tables.
