Located in the center of Geneva (just off the Rue de Rhone), Le Carnivore du Centre has been serving great food since 1976 and is famous for their high quality menu, friendly atmosphere and professional 'old world' service. Le Carnivore specializes in meat dishes and is especialy renowned for their Entrecote & Roasted Baby Chicken, but their extensive menu caters to all tastes and includes fish dishes & pastas too. Depending on the weather, you can dine in the glassed-in verandah, in the stone walled cave, or on the beautiful sunny outdoor terrace - all perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner for 2.

What’s On the Menu?
In addition to the famous Entrecote and Roasted Baby Chicken house specialties (CHF 37 & CHF 27), the menu also includes a changing 'dish of the day' section, an extensive list of a-la-carte choices, great home-made deserts including a killer creme brullee, and a fine selection of wines from all over the world.

Some example a-la-carte dishes include:

• Spicy lamb sausages (CHF 15.50)

• Beef tartar (Chf 26-33)
• Beef tenderloins (Chf 43)
• King prawns or sea bream grilled in a charcoal oven (Chf 28 & Chf 32)
• Fillets of perch a meuniere (CHF 35)

And if all those choices are stressing you out, you can always go for the 3 course prix fix menus (CHF 46 for the Chicken & CHF 56 for the Entrecote) to minimise the choice but maximize the taste.

“I went there twice in one week and each time left delighted! The service is discreet but efficient and the meals are very good. I’d particularly recommend the chicken forestière or the countryman salad. I’ve heard the Beef Tartar is excellent but I’m not personally a big fan of raw meat. In any case, I’ll definitely be going back.”

Excellent restaurant. If you like meat, you should try Carnivor. One block back from the lake... The food was great - bread, & complimentary olives were the best I have ever had. Spicy lamb sausages and goat cheese salad appertisers were absolutely delicious... We both had the rib steak and it was cooked to perfection... I will definitely go again..."
