My hair stylist was friendly but the atmosphere wasn’t very nice. It was cold and unwelcoming. I didn’t like the end result because it wasn’t what I asked for. It also took an hour to get a wash and blow dry (didn’t get my hair cut, decided against it when I walked in).

They give you a head massage with really nice oil before the haircut. The hairdresser was really knowledgeable and friendly. I was offered herbal tea which was a nice touch. And I love how Aveda’s products are all natural and plant-based (no harsh chemicals and as far as I know, no animal testing).

I purchased the BC voucher as I like Aveda products and used to enjoy my trip to their salon, so decided to give it another go. I stopped going to Aveda (in the vielle ville) some years back, simply because my appointments were always late and twice cancelled with no notification. When I showed up late now, they maintained their original schedule by adapting my treatment, which hopefully is maintained throughout the day also.
