Optional: Get Your Motor Boat Skipper License
You can use your lessons just for fun, or as preparation for the Canton's practical motor boat skipper license exam (Bateau à moteur (cat. A). Note:
- Most people need around 10 practical lessons before they're ready for the practical skipper exam
- To get the license you need to pass a theory + practical exam. Both exams are managed by the Geneva Canton (not by the boat school) and require applying separately
- For those who want to take the practical skipper exam, Mora Mora offers a 2.5h session, incl 1h practical revision, for an extra CHF 200 to be paid directly to the school. The session happens an hour before your exam
- Minimum age for getting a license: 18

Bring A Friend To Join You On The Boat
You can bring a friend / child (age 10+) to join you on the boat while you do your class, at no extra cost. Your friend / child is there for fun and won't drive.
The Training Boat
The standard boats are either TARPON 5m50 training boat with 75 HP motor or TARPON 4m50 with 40HP. TARPON boats are very stable and fast, making them ideal for learning. The school may change the boats.
