Private Windsurfing Classes with Tropical

The illegitimate lovechild of a sailboat and a surfboard, windsurfing is the ideal summer sport for men and women who like speed, sun & fun. We know that lifting & holding the sail looks hard, but its actually about technique, ballance & finese more than upper body strength & stamina. And while we can't teach you ballance & finesse, we can provide a qualified English speaking instructor who'll teach you the technique and walk you through the basic steps & manuevers. You'll start with a few minutes of theoretical instructions & explanations and then into the water you'll go and the real fun begins...

When you can take the lesson

Lessons are available everyday from 1pm until sunset, depending on weather conditions & instructor availability.

Booking Required

Booking is required, so call Tropical at 022 786 16 79 to reserve your spot. You can cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled lesson, otherwise your voucher will count as used.

Meeting Point
You’ll meet your instructor at the Tropical Windsurfing Center in Collogny - on the Tropical Center / Wake Sport Center beach, right next to Geneve Plage (where the big glocals / Sindy beach parties are held). The center has all the equipment you'll need and also houses a cool restaurant so you can chill out before ar after your lesson and can bring freinds along too.

About Tropical Windsurf Center

Established in 1981, Tropical is one of the oldest & best known windsurfing & wakeboarding centers in the area (used to be called "Tropical Corner"). They're located in Collogny, next to Geneve Plage, and all their instructors are qualified & experienced professionals. Safety is a top priority at Tropical, so if your instructor judges the weather conditions as too risky, your lesson will be postponed.
