Your kids like trains? Then they'll LOVE this!
Swiss Vapeur Parc is 17,000m2 of beautiful parkland with 1,500m2 of mini train tracks, where you & the kids board little trains and go for a magical ride in a miniature Switzerland. It's just 1h15 from Geneva, and 45 min from Lausanne.
16 Mini Trains taking you throgh Mini Switzerland:
Swiss Vapeur Parc is one of Europe’s largest & most magnificent miniature railway complexes. Located in Le Bouveret, near Montreux, Swiss Vapeur Parc boasts over 1500 metres of track with 16 locomotives, 5 tunnels, 10 bridges and 6 level crossings along the way. Climb aboard the trains, sit back and relax while you chug through a mini-Switzerland, passing through lakes, mountains, vineyards and replicas of Swiss landmarks and chateaus on the way.
Get on, get off, do what the kids want:
Just hop on any of the 16 train rides available. Each train trip lasts about 12 minutes, and you can jump on and off at the stations in the middle to check out the replicas and historic villages along the way, and to enjoy the 1200 meters of footpaths.
When you need a break from the Trains:
Entry is for the entire day, so if you fancy a change of scenery at any point, you can wander over to the lake to watch the boats, enjoy the lakeside restaurants or cafés or even have a picnic before heading back to climb aboard again.
