Why we like 3S

3S is a chic Restaurant-Lounge-Bar in Planpalais (next to SIP) that caught our attention because of its NY-style design and the great reviews it got on Resto-Rang. So we tested it last week, and loved it.

At lunch they're a trendy restaurant where the local high-power bankers come to eat. But after work and in the evenings their restaurant side is complemented by a lounge/bar area, where people chill-out with drinks & tapas, while taking in the latest music vibes.

The design had a real "wow" effect on us (see video), cos it's trendy while staying welcoming and inviting. And the food is simply excellent (see menu), with great prices. We had their signatire Sea-Food Pasta and a Beed Carpacio: both were fresh, generous, and excellent. We paid CHF 70 for 2 people, without wine.

2 watchouts: the music can get a bit loud in the evenings. And before you go, call to ensure there's no special events that night, cos then it gets real packed.
